VIA Rail Canada Cancellations – Update

Canceled

VIA Rail Canada has posted dates for resumption of service on the many trips it had to cancel because of track-blocking protests. Service has already resumed on most busy routes in Quebec and Ontario; service will resume Feb. 27 for Montreal-Toronto, Ottawa-Toronto and Montreal-Halifax; and service will resume March 1 on the Transcontinental “Canadian” and the “Skeena,” along with minor routes. These plans are “subject to change,” so keep checking with VIA Rail
